Random Sentimentalness
So... I don't know why I decided to blog about this, but I am. HAHA! I have nothing else to blog about. Nothing else real exciting is going on right now. I just decided to write about my family members that I'm close to and that have a big impact in my life.

Lindsey and I are really really close! She's like a sister to me. I know that I can tell her anything and she won't judge me, I know that I can trust her with anything, and I know that she will always give me my opinion on things... whether I take them or not she gives them to me. She is a senior this year at Riverton High School... and she's taking a CNA class at their school that's like the MATC of Orem. HAHA did that make any sense? I'm really proud of her and her accomplishments, and I'm thankful that she's my cousin and my "little sister."
Nash is my other little sister. She lives next door to us, so she's over all the time! I love it! She's so much fun! We've been tending her since she was like... oh I dunno between 6 and 9 months old... I don't remember, and so she really is like our little sister. She's always over, playing, drawing, using the bathroom (even though her house is just as close when she has to go when she's playing outside) and I'm really proud of her as well. She made it onto a club soccer team this year. She's a good little player if I might add. Poor thing is always getting hurt though somehow. First she broke her arm, then her elbow, she always has bruises up and down her legs. The other day she got kicked in the shin and now her poor knee's swollen, she always twists her ankles... I mean she's just accident prone. But she loves being a tom boy and she loves playing dirty! I love my Nash!
MY BROTHER... PARKER...
Parker and I have gotten so close in the past few years... I love it! We always use to fight but not anymore. We love hanging out with each other and we always have so much fun everytime that we do! Parker and I also have that relationship where I know I can tell him anything that I need to and I know that he would do anything for me. I know he would drop everything he was doing to come to my aid if I needed! I am so very proud of him and all of his accomplisments! Being a senior this year, he's still dancing to his hearts content... winning competitions and placing high in them. Keeping up on his homework, while dreaming of becoming a Biotechnologist and working towards a Ballroom scholarship to BYU. I am so very proud of him and all of his hardwork! I love ya bud!
First off.... LINDSEY!

NASH...
Nash is my other little sister. She lives next door to us, so she's over all the time! I love it! She's so much fun! I mean she's just accident prone. But she loves being a tom boy and she loves playing dirty! I love my Nash! MY SISTER, WHITNEY, MY BROTHER IN LAW, CHRIS, AND MY NEPHEW EVERETT...

I love my sister! She's always been there for me, and even more so ever since she moved out before her and Chris got married! I know I can tell her anything, I can vent to her, tell her exciting stories, talk to her even if I just need someone to talk to but don't know about what, I know I can tell random funny stories to her and she'll listen, even if sometimes they don't make sense. I know that she is always there for me, by just the push of a button (on my phone). I can always count on her. And, she's an amazing mother to Everett and wife to Chris! Whit... I love our sisterly relationship and I'm so glad it is the way it is! I always hear stories about sisters that don't get along and don't ever talk. I know that we will never ever be like that and I know I can always count on you... you can always count on me too. I love ya sis!
Now Chris... He's like my older brother. Seriously. He's like Whitney. I know that I can talk to him about anything, count on him for anything, he would always be there for me if I felt like I could never talk to anyone else. I don't think I could ask for a better brother in law. :0) I love my relationship that I have with him.
Everett... What can I say? I love him to bits and pieces! Everytime I see him... no matter how bad or good of a day I'm having... he always makes me smile! ALWAYS! And I can't believe how much he's grown! I love that boy! Rett... your aunt Shelby will always love you! Love ya!
MY BROTHER... PARKER...
I love my family! They have done so much for me and I don't know where I would be without them! I love them all! I just don't have time to write about all of them!

BYU Knittin' Lady
When Muriel Thole immigrated to the United States from England in 1954, she had never seen a basketball game or a game of American football. That soon changed after she became a BYU Fan. Not only was she one of the first members of the club, prior to the formal organization of the Cougar Club, Muriel started her own booster group consisting of 400 female BYU fans called the Down Town Coacherettes. Muriel has served on the Cougar Club Board of Directors and her love for BYU teams has taken her around the world to cheer for the Cougars on three continents. For example, she was in Hawaii with Ty Detmer when the team received the announcement that Ty won the Heisman Trophy. Including team trips, Cougar Club tours and traveling on her own, Muriel has traveled well over 150,000 miles to attend BYU Games. That is more than six times around the world and half-way to the moon. A constant fixture in section 9 row 5 seat 21 which has been her seat since the Marriott Center opened, Muriel is internationally known for what she does during the games. While visiting Australia with the basketball team she was shocked when approached by a complete stranger who said "I know you, you’re the Cougars' knitt'n lady".
Over the decades she has watched the Cougars while knitting thousands and thousands of hats, sweaters, mittens, and scarves which she donates to community charities including homeless shelters and centers for abused women. Appropriately, on last week’s Cougar Club tour to the Washington game, Muriel celebrated her birthday. When asked which one, she would only say it was a multi-year anniversary of the day she turned 29.
When it comes to being a BYU fan, there are few Cougar Club members that have been involved with the club as long or traveled more with the teams. Muriel has clearly demonstrated her love for the Cougars and for countless strangers who have received a warm scarf or hand-made hat that she knitted for them while cheering BYU on to victory.

Now you might be wondering why one of my blog posts is about Muriel Thole, the BYU Knitting Lady. Well... it's because I... do her hair every Wednesday at school.
The girl that usually does her is graduating in about 3 weeks, and she has passed Muriel onto me for one of my shampoo set regulars. I have gotten to know Muriel for the past 3 weeks, and I absolutely adore her! She is so straight forward, honest, funny, loving, and one of the best darn knitters I have ever known. She really is into giving to the homeless, and helping the women in the abused shelters and she loves talking and telling me all about her old college boyfriends and the fun trips she has been on and what she's collecting for the homeless this week.
It's kind of stressful... knowing that I have to make her hair look nice for when she's on the news and in newspapers and such. Her hair is not easy I will tell you that. It is super hard. But... I love ya Muriel!
