Whew! What a day!

I had another really good day today! YAY! Here's what it went like:

-got up at 5:30 am to get ready to be at work at 7-

-worked till 12 noon-

-went home, had lunch, checked my email and waited for Mom to come back from DCWV scrapbook discount shopping with Karen and her girls (I didn't get to go cause of well... haha work!)-

-looked at all the fun stuff my Mom got for super cheap-

-went over to the warehouse to see if I wanted anything-

-left the warehouse about an hour later with $49.00 worth of scrapbooking supplies, mostly paper packs, plus a super cute dry erase glass calendar that was $10.00!-

-went and got lunch with Madre-

-put all my new fun stuff away-

-watched Avatar-

-made bacon, sausage and toast for dinner. got a little tummy ache from all the grease from off the bacon and sausage, I remember why I don't eat it very often hehe. I always get sick from grease it seems like. Good thing though... then I'm not eating it all the time-

-watched Vampire Diaries, not at Holly's though cause she had to work but it was still AMAZING!-

-read my book for a while-

-read my scriptures-

-now I'm just relaxing on my bed blogging and watchin The King of Queens-

I got an email from Shawn today. It was an email he received from... I think it's the Montevideo mission president but don't quote me on that... he had sent some pictures of Cody when he arrived in the Montevideo mission home on the 20th. It was soo good to see his smiling face and you can tell he is sooo happy out there and you can see the Light of Christ in his face.


This is my favorite! Look at his cute smile! I miss that smile of his hehe! :D

MUUUCCCHH better day!

Oh my goodness! Today was a much much better day then yesterday! It seems like my prayers last night really did work. :D

I went to Nash's soccer game tonight. SOO cold! I froze to bits and pieces! I took my camera to take pictures but I didn't get any because I was tooo cold... so sorry, no soccer pictures of my cute cousin hehe :D It was so much fun though! Definately worth the thawing out! I love just sitting and chatting with my aunt Dalene!

I hope tomorrow is just as great of a day as today was! :D

Oh I got kind of an email (hehe) from Cody on Monday. He's in a place called Canelones, I think he said it's like an hour outside of Montevideo. But his first week out in the field was awesome and he's loving every minute of his mission! I'm so proud and so happy for him! He definately made a super good decision for his life :D Love ya Coders!

I've heard these descriptions of me from lots of people lately. I'm so sorry if I really have been this way... to anybody. Please pass along to anyone who doesn't have access to this post. I don't think I'm this way, but obviously I was wrong. I'm so so so sooooo sorry.

Also... Why does it feel that when something's are just starting to look up that everything flips and it all goes down the toilet again? I know life is never normal, but I want it to at least feel somewhat normal.

stRess!

Well... it's true. I'm super stressed. About tons of stuff.

1) I feel like I'm getting kicked out of my bathroom all the time. Don't get me wrong I love my brother but all of his stuff explodes all over, it's everywhere. The only things that belong to me in the bathroom is my shampoo and razor in the shower and my toothbrush and toothpaste. Everything else has been moved to the hall closet. Ugh. I had to shower in my parents shower today because he was supposed to be coming home from work the same time that I was gonna shower. I was out 10 minutes later and he still wasn't home.

2) Work. I can't take Sam's Club anymore. I know I've said this before but it's true this time, I'm done playing their games. I can't take it anymore. College Dental Clinic, I hope your serious about me going in for a working interview and offering me Emily's assistant postition because I'm going to call you and ask. Because I need out of Sam's and pronto!

3) School. I don't even know why I'm stressed about this because it hasn't even started yet but I am. :(

4) My sister.

5) I miss Cody... and I have a lot this week! haha but I'm so grateful for his sister Holly and his parents for still being there for me. When I need to talk about something that maybe my parents wouldn't understand or something that I would tell Cody I usually tell Holly and Julie and Shawn. Well sometimes Julie and Shawn but you know what I mean. I'm grateful for my other friends too.

I'm grateful for the church and what a blessing it's been in my life. I've been trying to sort somethings out and the gospel has been helping me. I'm grateful for the power of the atonement, the power of prayer, scripture study, family, priesthood, and many other things.

I want to pick my eyeballs outta my head still though. Ugh. :0(

Oh my goodness! hahahahahahaha! This is Holly, while we were at Walmart tonight with Momma Julie. hahahahahahahahaha! I love this girl!

Lindsey's Visit!

So my cousin, Lindsey Hadden, well my second cousin but it's the same diff to me, came to stay with us for a few days while she was on her way back from visiting her parents in Iowa and heading back to BYU-Idaho. It was soooo good to see her! I hadn't seen her since my Grandpa's (her great-grandpa) funeral 7 years ago. It was so fun!


It was so fun! Dad and I went and picked her up from the airport on Saturday after I got off work. Then we ate some dinner, and played the Wii. :D We had a blast! Oh my goodness! Then on Sunday, we went to church and came home and then we went and visited my Grandpa's gravesite. After that we went around BYU campus to take some pictures. Mom and dad and Parker came with. It was great!

Cody Update

Well, Cody leaves the MTC tomorrow morning! Goodbye Argentina, hello Uruguay! haha I'm so excited for him! He told me he was getting antsy in his classes and he's so excited to get out there and talk to people "err day" (those are the exact words he used haha!) He's anxious to do every day what he's been doing almost every Saturday since he got to Buenos Aires. He'll be great out there! I wish I could sneak to Montevideo and sneak around the streets and watch him at work hehe but I know I can't so praying for him will do just as good. :D He should be sending some pictures so when I get some I will put them up for you to see! (You can check out his blog too... eldercodyeastonpike.blogpsot.com for more info and updates! Not that I don't put them here to but... haha well ya know hehe)

Carver Ryan Boyd

Carver Ryan Boyd was born today :D Awww... my dear sweet nephew. I'm sorry that I can't see you. I'm sorry that we're both in a situation where I'll never get to meet you... at least for a long while. Just know that I love you so very very much, just as much as I love your brother. Know that I am here for you, always, and that you can always count on your Aunt Shelby.

I Can Dream

So this might seem like a weird post, but I have nothing else to blog about haha! I decided to show you the cars that I love and someday want to own :D

First off...

The Cadillac Escalade! This is my all time favorite "rich person" car that I am gonna own someday hehe! It might not ever happen but I can dream. This is not a mexi-car, it's only a mexi-car if I make it ride low and put spinner rims on it, which is NEVER going to happen. Color? Black. Or this dark blue is growing on me.

The Chrysler 300. This is my 2nd favorite "rich person" car hehe. Color? Either the deep charcoal gray or black.

No need to tell you what this car is. haha! I've always wanted a yellow Mustang, but WITHOUT the racing stripes... I don't do racing stripes hehe :D

Now onto the cars that I could actually afford right now, or after I get a new job.



The Jeep Liberty. It's cute. AND I could go to Moab in it... if I really wanted too hehe! Color? Black or bright Red.





The Nissan X-Terra. Kinda reminds me of the Jeep Liberty, but in it's own different way. haha does that make sense? Anyways, I don't know if it's a good car at all or not but I guess I'll find out someday! Color? Black or Yellow. Yup. That's right. :D

Trying to Decide...

So I'm trying to decide if I want to make my blog public again. The only reason I did make it private was because I didn't want someone looking at my blog and knowing what was going on with my life and freaking out over what I'm posting... but now I don't care. If they don't like what I'm posting then they don't have to read my blog, I don't care if they want me to make it private or not. They think I made it private because they asked me to but I really didn't... I did it so they would leave me alone. Ugh. Anyways... I have tons of friends that used to read it all the time but I know they won't give me their emails to send them invites, not because they don't want me to know their emails haha. Let me know what you guys think... haha.

Eventful Week

This week and weekend was quite eventful. My parents and brother went on a cruise for Parker's ballroom tour. They went to Catalina Island and Ensenada. They had a blast. Anyways, I am too baby to stay at home by myself... AT NIGHTS... haha and so I slept over and my Grandma and Grandpa Kendall's house. SOOO much fun! Especially when my cute grandpa teases my cute grandma haha I love her reactions!

Anyways, Monday night after work I hung out with one of my best friends ever, Sean King, AKA "Sean the King" haha. We went bowling and had so much fun! We bowled four games, one of which we played a game called Corners, which is like golf kinda. Sean decided in one of the games that he wanted to do random funny things... and this one happened to be it even though it didn't work out very well ;D

hahaha soo funny! Sean is awesome! Erika and I went out on Friday since neither of us had to work, and oh my good gracious we found these weird crazy skinny leg jeans that I would never pay $15 for at JCPenny haha but we definately had to try them on...







I never realized how good I look in skinny jeans! haha ;D I may just need to start buying some haha! I didn't think I'd like them that much... ok obviously NOT these jeans cause they're ugly and so stupid haha but I might be able to do regular skinny jeans... maybe.

Vampire Diaries!

I absolutely have come to LOVE Vampire Diaries... just as much as I LOVE One Tree Hill! Anyways, I started watching it with Holly and Poppa Shawn when Cody and I would get back to his house after his basketball games. Oh my gosh! Sooo good! I hadn't seen the beginning of the season so even though Holly and Shawn and I are watching them every Thursday night, I am also catching up with the first episodes on the internet so that I know what's going on. Haha!

I'm also gonna start reading the books someday... :D

Last nights episode was REALLY intense... oh my gosh! haha! And next weeks, looks just as crazy! Sooo excited!

Holly and I are having a movie night Saturday, so pictures and stories to come! Plus, mom and dad and Parker are getting home from the cruise tonight! So excited to see them!

Baseball!

I am sooo excited for baseball season this year! I am a fan of the Los Angeles Angels hehe and I'm so excited to watch this year!



I got thinking about Nick Adenhart the other day. How sad is it that's he's been gone for a year? What a great pitcher he was. He will be greatly missed again this season.
