There is a Lakers game on tonight.

Guess who can't watch it?

I'm home... so you'd think that I would be able to.

It's because it's on a channel that you have to order. Not TNT or ESPN like usual.

Thinking 'Bout Cody

These are the next two pages in Cody's mission scrapbook. Again, simple, but I think they look great.

I got a letter from him today! I started crying while I was reading it. Partly because I definately felt the spirit during some of the things that he said, and partly because I miss everything about that kid. One of the things that I loved that he said where I felt the spirit was, "I know the Lord is a God of miracles and he is working miracles back home for me, you, and for our wonderful families." He also told me that his testimony has strengthened so much more since he's been out in the field, and at the time that he wrote the letter it was only his first week (April 26, 2010). He also said, "I love you so much sweetie, I hope you know that... everyday I'm out here I miss all the times we had together. I miss you're beautiful face more and more everyday. I am so grateful to have someone like you in my life. I love you more and more everyday. I know that me being out here is blessing me and you and my family." He also reminded me to stay close to the Lord. Gosh! haha only 648 more days! I know I'm retarded for having a count down, but guess what? He's been gone for almost 100 days! It's going quick... but still somedays it feels like it's going to be forever.

Anyways, it's still raining. I am grateful for the rain, don't get me wrong because right now Utah really really needs it, but at the same time I am so ready for summer and the sun and warm days to be here! haha!
