Instead of "Dude, Where's My Car"...

....What happened to your car!?Erika and I were driving around the other day and we saw this car while we were at a stop light. We were laughing so hard that I had to get a pic to put up here... Makes you wonder how that happened. That's not a "ding" you see everyday!

10 Things You Probably Didn't Know

My sister did this on her blog. And it sounded kind of fun. So I thought I would give it a try. Here it goes.

#1) I love sitting in the warm bath tub and reading a good book at the same time. Something about that is... well relaxing. I do that all the time.

#2) I absolutely hate doing the dishes! I hate the smell of the grime and the food that isn't rinsed off the dishes all the way. I hate the smell of the grease on pans after you make, like eggs, or bacon. I hate the look of the food when it's been soaked in water and dish soap after a while. I hate the feel when you have to rinse it off, or when you have to dunk your hand into a grimey, greasy pot to get silverware that is dumped in there. I gag! The whole time that I am doing the dishes, I am gagging! My mom loves watching me do the dishes. She laughs at me the whole time. I'll do the dishes, but I hate doing them.

#3) I tell people that I don't ever care what anyone thinks about me. And in a lot of situations, I really don't care. I don't care that people think I'm crazy, loud, wild, love to have fun. But I do care in other situations. I've never been that popular of a girl. I've always wanted to just fit in with people. I worry about what I look like a lot of the time, and if I'm good looking for some people... I've always worried if I'm good enough for some people or not.

#4) For those that don't know, I am LDS. In my sophomore year of high school, I was acutally beginning to doubt the church because of some things that had happened to me. I wondered why the Lord made these things happen to me and I wondered if He cared about me. I wondered if the church was true. If the scriptures were true. But with the help of mainly my parents, I began to see the truth and the light again. I learned why the trials that happened to me had happened to me and to this day I am continuing to learn and grow from them. I had always heard stories of members of the church that had doubted. But I never actually thought it would happen to me. But it did. And I'm glad it did. I am a better member and a better person because of it. I have a super strong testimony and if that hadn't happened to me, my testimony probably wouldn't be as strong as it is now.

#5) I ever wonder if I'll end up dying old and alone. And instead of having 20 cats, I will have 20 dogs. Ha ha!

#6) Whenever I get a new cd, or hear a song on the radio that I like, I have to read the lyrics while listening to that song. A lot of the time, I'll pull the cover out of the cd case, and just read the lyrics along with the cd. Other times I'll look up the song and the words on the internet, and play it while looking at the words. I always want to have a connection with a lot of the songs, and I always end up having a connection with a lot of the songs that I listen to.

#7) I hate my own handwriting. Everyone says that it's really cute and that they wished that their handwriting looked like mine, but I hate my handwriting. I think it's really sloppy. Judge for yourself...

#8) I am a true blue, hard core cowgirl at heart. I don't always show it, but I really am. I have boots and I love my boots. I love country music! I love watching rodeos on tv, and I love watching PBR on tv when it's in season. And the few times that I have ridden a horse, I have absolutely loved it! AND! I've always wanted to be in a rodeo! I've always wanted to ride bareback or do barrell racing. It'll never happen but I can dream right?

#9) I am addicted. To shoes. And purses. And pepsi! It's so bad. I have about 15 purses. And I have about 20 pairs of shoes. And pepsi... that's about all I drink. Besides the few glasses of water and milk every day.

#10) I love sports! I love football, basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball... that's not the thing you didn't know. I've always wanted to be a gymnist. Sometimes I've wished that I would have gotten into gymnastics. I wanna be flexible. I wanna be able to do all those cool rolls, twists, flips, flying, and whatever else they do. Plus, it just looks like fun! And, I would be in really good shape if I did that! Ha ha!

Chris Crane turns 22!

One of my friend's, Chris, birthday was on Wednesday, the 15th. Kenz and I decided we wanted to do something special for him, because he said no one really remembered his birthday. We decided to bake him a cake, heart attack his car, and then take him to dinner. On the night before, we made him a sweet awesome Batman cake (Batman's his favorite super hero) and then we threw foil and paper shreds, balloons, cut out hearts and random candy in his car. Then the night of his birthday we kidnapped him and took him to dinner.. which ended up being Del Taco because that's where he chose. It was so much fun!!!! ... here's pictures ...

Chris' Batman Cake

Chris laughing after we revealed his cake to him.

Aaahhhh... good times. Good times.

No More Cali

Some of my friends from work invited me to go to California with them the second weekend of May. I went into work once I got the ok from my parents, and I requested it off.

It got rejected.

Ok... tell me this... how does someone like me... who's stayed after work sometimes more then an hour, only missed one day ever in the 10 months, been to work on time everyday and volunteer to do more jobs around the club all the time... gets four days from work rejected? When people who are always late, never stay after, never help anywhere else in the club always get everytime they want a vaca approved?

I'm irritated.

Everytime I try to go and have fun, I can't. It's always thrown in the trash or flushed down the toilet. So... no more Cali.

Here's my trip...
Fun huh?

Tied Down?

The other night, Erika and I went to the mall when we were hanging out. We went into the Lids store, which is just a hat store, and I found these hats. I fell in love with them and since I've been so into hats lately, I got them. The black one is a Burton snowboarding one, and the other is just a Puma hat. They are so cute though! And get this... see the curve in the brim!? I acutally bought hats with a curvy brim!

I went on a date last night with a kid that I've been out with once before. He's a really cute kid! He's almost 22 years old, he's a returned missionary, comes from a really great family, almost done with his schooling, he's shy but a really great guy. I have a crush on him as well as liking him as a friend. BUT... I also have a crush on this other kid that I know from work. I became friends with his friend that works with us as well, and now I've started talking to him and started to become his friend. He's also a returned missionary, about 22, going to school and will be graduated in a few years. He's not shy, he's got a lot of friends and he's really outgoing, and he's so cute and really really nice and a really great guy! ............

.............Well after my date last night, I decided that I didn't wanna be tied down and "claimed" by anyone right now. I want to be able to like a lot of guys at one time, and I want to be able to date a lot of guys. When school starts up, I might not have a lot of time to devote to a boyfriend, especially with work and stuff. I want to be able to see different guys, think they are cute, go on a date with them, hang out with them and just be single and free for right now. I am only 18. I want to be free and be able to do whatever I want to do. I need to "find" myself for these next few months and just be able to have fun and not be devoted to one guy. Before I can do that, I need to devote time to myself. Not a bad idea huh? Probably one of the best decisions I ever made for myself... I'm off to a good start.

I'll Never Let Go!

My nephew was beggin for my dad a lot today. So when my dad took him from my mom, Rett grabbed onto my dad's shirt like this and would not let go. It was as if he wanted to say, "Oh finally, Grandpa! You get to hold me! Now don't let me go..." or "Why I oughta!" Man oh man, it was so cute! He finally let go after about 10 minutes... I think he just missed Grandpa. He doesn't get to see him a lot.

Make Sure Your Milk Isn't Leakin'...

Today while at work, this lady came through my line and asked if I wanted to hear the funny for the day. Always up for a laugh in the middle of my shift... I said, "Sure! Lay it on me!" She continued with her story...

She said she was back by the coolers where the milk and eggs are, and she said she looked over and noticed that this elderly lady's milk in her cart was leaking. She could tell because of the milk puddle underneath the lady's cart that kept pilin' up. She wanted to let the elderly woman know so that when she got to the front she wouldn't wonder why one of her milk carton's was empty. She said she went up to the woman and said to her, "Ma'm, I just wanted to let you know that your milk is leakin'." She then said that her daughter, who was with her, gave her a funny look and realized what her daughter was thinking...................... She then decided she probably should have worded it differently... and she told me, "I felt quite stupid after saying that! I didn't mean for it to come across that way! I just wanted to let her know that her milk was leakin' from her carton!" While all three of us were laughing at the innocent comment, her daughter asked if the woman thought what she had. She said, "Well she didn't give me a funny look or anything, so I guess not. She just said, 'Oh it is? Oh thank you!' and looked in her cart... thank goodness!" Now honestly... I wouldn't have noticed either if I was the older woman. But it's acutally kinda funny. Now I know it's definately not a knee slapper, but it's one of those things that can give you a smile and a little chuckle because I know it did me. So ladies, please make sure your milk isn't leakin'! Your milk in your shopping carts, crazy heads!
